The
High School program is open to all area high school students. No
XC skiing experience is necessary to join. this is a competitive
cross country skiing program. The team will travel to snow for early
season training and will travel throughout the state for competitions,
culminating at the Wisconsin State Championships.
The
season runs from November through February. Practices are five times
a week. Athletes must provide their own equipment including skate
and classic skis and roller skis. Used equipment is available at
the Peak Nordic Ski swap. Coaches
will be available to assist with fittings.
